The Forty Frame Game will be operating the Ladies’ Bowlers Journal in Detroit, MI in 2008! We are offering Singles Challenge and 9 Pin No-Tap Doubles. We also offer the Bowling Bingo (at no extra cost) in both events! We will not be offering Scratch Doubles. We apologize for not offering this as previously advertised. We offer a $5.00 Combo Entry discount when you bowl the Ladies Bowlers Journal Singles Challenge and The Forty Frame Game Ladies Doubles. The LBJ Singles Challenge is 3 games and is handicapped. The first game is a 3-6-9 game giving automatic strikes in frames 3, 6 & 9. The second game is a 9 Pin No-Tap. The third is a regular game of 10 frame bowling. The three games are added together and handicapped for your Grand Total. The entry fee is $30.00. The LBJ 9 Pin No-Tap Handicap Doubles is 3 games and handicapped. Each bowler bowls three games of 9 Pin No-Tap. The final scores are added together for the Grand Total. The entry fee is $60.00 per doubles team. Bowling Bingo is offered at no extra cost to the bowler with either entry. To win Bowling Bingo, you must Bingo: match five numbers either horizontally or vertically, or diagonally on the same card. Bowlers win $60.00 when they Bingo during the first game. $35.00 is paid when they Bingo during the second game and $25.00 during the third game. Bowlers win secondary prizes by matching numbers in patterns other than the traditional Bingo format. Patterns such as 4 Corners, Postage Stamp on any Corner and Iron Cross will pay $10.00 in the first game, $6.00 in the second and $2.00 in the third game. Matching up the numbers in Small Picture Frame will win $60.00 in the first game, $40.00 in the second and $30.00 in the third. Winners of the Home Run Pattern (match all numbers around the outside of the Bingo Card) will be paid $200.00.
